At NorthStar Benefits Partners, we believe employers and employees deserve better from the healthcare system. Too many businesses are trapped in a model where costs rise every year, transparency is nonexistent, and employees still struggle to access quality care. Employers are asked to spend more while receiving less, and employees are often left frustrated, confused, and financially exposed.
That is why we do what we do.
We exist to challenge the traditional health insurance model and guide employers toward solutions that are transparent, accountable, and built around people — not insurance company profits. We believe healthcare should be understandable, accessible, and financially sustainable for both employers and employees.
Our mission is rooted in service. We are not driven by quotas, carrier incentives, or proprietary products. As an independent firm, our responsibility is solely to our clients and their employees. Every recommendation we make is centered around doing what is right, even when it means challenging the status quo.
We help organizations take control of their healthcare spend through innovative, partially self-funded and unbundled strategies that align incentives, improve access to care, and eliminate waste throughout the system. But our work goes beyond reducing costs. We are helping employers create benefit plans that employees can actually use and trust.
At NorthStar, we believe healthcare should work for the people paying for it and relying on it every day. We believe employers should have visibility into where their dollars are going. We believe employees deserve advocates in their corner. And we believe better outcomes are possible when transparency, accountability, and care are aligned.
We do this because the current system is broken — and because businesses and families deserve a better path forward.
NorthStar Benefits Partners doesn’t just point companies toward that future. We guide them there.

At NorthStar Benefits Partners, we believe employee benefits should do more than check a box — they should truly serve people. In a healthcare system that often feels broken, with rising costs and limited transparency, we help employers take back control.
Our team specializes in unbundled, partially self-funded health plan strategies that give companies financial clarity and their employees better access to care. By aligning data, experience, and innovative solutions, we create plans that reduce waste, protect budgets, and improve outcomes.
We are more than consultants — we are guides. Like the North Star, our role is to provide steady direction in a complex and often confusing landscape. Our commitment is simple: always do what’s right, always put people first, and always deliver results that matter.
Together, we’re helping employers reimagine what benefits can be — not just for their bottom line, but for the well-being of every employee and family they support.
